Abstract: A method for detecting a material which regulates activation of vaccinia-related kinase 1(VRK1) is provided to improve the efficiency of detection of the material. A method for detecting a material which regulates VRK1 activity comprises: a step of treating a histone H3 as a candidate material, VRK1, and substrate of VRK1; a step of measuring the phosphorylation of histone H3; and a step of comparing the phosphorylation degree between the histone H3 treating candidate material and untreated histone H3 The step of measuring phosphorylation comprises: a step of attaching reaction protein with nitrocellulose membrane; and a step of measuring phosphorylation of histone H3 using histone H3-phosphorylated Thr3 and Ser10 or immune antibody which specifically recognizes the histone H3-phosphorylated Thr3 and Ser10.

Abstract: 본 발명은 백시니아-관련 카이네이즈 1 (vaccinia-related kinase 1, VRK1)의 활성조절물질을 발굴하는 데 있어서, VRK1의 특이적 인산화 부위를 밝힘으로써, 보다 효율적으로 VRK1의 활성조절물질을 탐색하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 이와 같이 검색된 VRK1의 활성조절물질은 항암제, 세포성장촉진제 등으로서 유용하다.
