Abstract: PURPOSE: A quantum dot dendrimer and a method for synthesizing the same are provided to maximize light absorption and to ensure solvent dispersibility. CONSTITUTION: A quantum dot dendrimer is formed by combining a plurality of quantum dots in a three dimension. The quantum dot dendrimer is formed in a sphere, polyhedron, ellipse, and cylinder. The diameter of the quantum dot dendrimer is 10nm-1um. A method for synthesizing the quantum dot dendrimer comprises: a step of mixing a first precursor, surfactant, and solvent and heating; and a step of adding a second precursor to condense the quantum dots in a dendrimer structure.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A photovoltaic device using semiconductor nano-crystals is provided to increase the photoelectric conversion efficiency by improving light absorption capacity. CONSTITUTION: A solar cell comprises a photo active layer(300) between a first electrode(100) and a second electrode(500). The photo active layer is a complex active layer comprised of a polymer(350) and a semiconductor nano crystal(330). The semiconductor nano-crystal has at least one interfaces. Band gaps of the interfaces are crossed with each other. The surface of the semiconductor nano-crystal comprises an electric charge. The electronics and hole of the semiconductor nano-crystal are placed on a different semiconductor layer.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A photoelectric conversion device using a quantum dot dendrimer is provided to offer an excellent absorption of a light the per square compared to a single quantum dot, by having a structure that the quantum dot of a umber nanometer size is integrated three dimensionally. CONSTITUTION: A first electrode(22) and a second electrode(25) separated with a fixed interval is formed on an upper part of a substrate(21). The first electrode and the second electrode are an opaque electrode. A photoactive layer(24) is formed between the first electrode and the second electrode. The photoactive layer includes a quantum dot dendrimer. The quantum dot dendrimer is formed with combining a plurality of quantum dots with three-dimensional. The quantum dot dendrimer is a sphere shape, a polyhedron shape, a shape of ellipse or a cylindrical.
