Abstract: A method for preparing surface-modified microchannels is provided to ensure excellent hydrophile property and fast electro osmotic flow, high organic solvent resistance and low absorption for neutral materials. A method for preparing surface-modified microchannels comprises (i) a step of manufacturing the sol gel solution by performing the sol-gel reaction about alkoxysilane-containing precursor solution; and (ii) a step of contacting the sol gel solution manufactured from the (i) step on he surface of the oxidized polydimethylsiloxane microchannel.

Abstract: An apparatus for treating food waste is provided to prevent an on-off unit and a sliding member from being worn away and prevent the food waste from getting in between the on-off unit and the sliding member, by using a discharge port cover. A hopper has a bottom plate(13) with a discharge port(15), wherein the discharge port is formed by opening a portion of the bottom plate. A collection case is disposed below the hopper. A sliding member(20) is continuously formed along the discharge port. When an on-off unit(30a) of a cylinder shape is rotated centering on a rotation central shaft(30c), an outer circumferential surface of the on-off unit is closely contacted with the sliding member to slide. A driving unit rotates the on-off unit. A discharge port cover(14) is rotated centering on a hinge shaft formed on the bottom plate of the hopper according to rotation of the on-off unit, thereby opening or closing the discharge port.
