    Abstract: PURPOSE: A solid oxide fuel cell is provided to improve performance by uniformly maintaining porosity and particles in a negative electrode layer small and to restrain the crack generation and porous structure change of the negative electrode layer. CONSTITUTION: A solid oxide fuel cell comprises a negative electrode support, a negative electrode layer selectively formed on the negative electrode support, an electrolyte layer formed on the negative electrode support or negative electrode layer, and a positive electrode layer formed on the electrolyte layer. The negative electrode support comprises NiO, one or more components selected from a group consisting of YSZ, ScSZ, SmSZ, GDC, and a heat-expansion-controllable oxide. The heat expansion ratio of the heat-expansion-controllable oxide is 7.0x10^(-6)/°C-10.0x10^(-6)/°C.
