Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a method for obtaining voice recognition service for a moving device having no resource or no software for locally performing voice recognition processing. CONSTITUTION: This method is a radio communication system using a remote voice recognition server system for translating a voice input received from the moving device receiving the service to a symbolic data file (e.g. alphanumerics or control characters) processible by the moving device. The translation processing is started by establishing voice communication between the moving device and the voice recognition server. Then, a user of the moving device starts to speak so as to be detected by the voice recognition server system. When the speech of the user is detected, the voice recognition server system translates the speech to the symbolic data file, and the symbol data file is sent to the user through a separated data communication channel. When the user receives the symbolic data file in the moving device, the user re-sees it, and edits the contents of the symbolic data file to use the file so as to be required further.
