Abstract: A cable bridge is provided to reduce the weight by using a crank-type concrete edge girder instead of conventional rectangular edge girder which is thick and requires a separate element for supporting the bridge deck. A cable bridge(1) comprises a bridge deck(2) in which crank type concrete edge girders(3) are installed to support the deck put on the lower flange of the concrete edge girder and a cable(4) is coupled to the upper flange of the concrete edge girder to support the concrete edge girder. The concrete edge girder is composed of the lower flange(31) supporting the outer side of the deck, a vertical part, and the upper flange(32) which is protruded in the opposite direction to the lower flange in which the cable is penetrated and fixed.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A cable stayed bridge equipped with a cross beam of a box structure is provided to reduce the construction period by forming a cross beam connected to an upper girder in a box structure. CONSTITUTION: A cable stayed bridge equipped with a cross beam of a box structure comprises a cross beam(100). The cross beam comprises a bottom plate(110) and a box portion. The bottom plate is vertically formed. The bottom plate is formed in a rectangular shape. The box unit is formed on the vertical bottom of the bottom plate in an reverse ladder shape. The box unit is extended to the horizontal direction of the bottom plate. The box unit comprises two side walls(121) and a lower flange(123). The side wall is inclinedly connected to both vertical sides. The lower flange closes the lower end of the side wall. A box type space(101) is formed on the bottom plate, the side walls, and the lower flange.
