Abstract: A safety control system for an automatic door is disclosed. The safety control system for an automatic door, which includes a fixed door and a sliding door moving transversely toward the fixed door, comprises an operation detecting sensor unit detecting an object on the front side of an entrance of the automatic door; a first safety sensor unit detecting an object placed on the entrance and arranged on an opening and closing surface of a sliding door; a second safety sensor unit placed on a pathway along which the sliding door moves to be opened; and a control unit controlling the automatic door according to a signal transmitted from at least one among the operation detecting sensor unit, the first safety sensor unit, and the second safety sensor unit.
