Abstract: PURPOSE: A plate type heat exchanger is provided to improve heat transfer performance and to minimize additional pressure drop. CONSTITUTION: A plate type heat exchanger(1) includes a first channel(35), a second channel(36) and a pulsating flow generating device generating pulsating flow of working fluid(31,32) in the first channel or the second channel by frequency making flow of the working fluid resonate in the plate type heat exchanger. The first channel or the second channel passes an inside of a heat transfer plate of the plate type heat exchanger. The pulsating flow generating device is installed on an inlet(35a,36a) of the first channel or the second channel to the heat transfer plate in parallel with a normal flow generating device generating normal flow in the inlet of the first channel or the second channel.
