    Abstract: The present invention relates to a nanophosphor and a method for manufacturing the same. The nanophosphor has upconversion properties to clearly emit light by infrared ray excitation, and can emit green light having stronger intensity of the light emission than an existing nanophosphor. The nanophosphor has upconversion properties to have almost no influence of self-emitting when applied as a biometric image to obtain a clear image, and is able to be synthesized in a small size of about 200 nm or less to be easily applied to such as bio-imaging and a forgery preventing code. Moreover, the nanophosphor has stronger light emitting properties by forming a shell, and can obtain further stronger light emitting properties if the contents of elements comprised in a core matrix are controlled.
