Abstract: 본 발명은 컴퓨터를 통한 영상 처리 및 신경 회로망 기법을 이용하여 정상 혈구 세포 및 미성숙 세포를 정확히 인식하는 방법 및 장치에 관한 것이다. 혈구 세포의 인식을 위해 영상 확대 및 획득 수단을 이용하여 혈구 세포의 영상 데이터를 획득하여 메모리에 저장한다. 그리고, 세포의 특성을 잘 나타내주는 선정된 수의 세포 특성 파라미터값에 따라 혈구 세포의 종류를 인식하는 것이다. 혈구 세포의 종류를 인식하는데에 있어서, 2개의 신경 회로망을 구현하여 동일한 인식 결과가 나오는 경우는 정상 혈구 세포 중의 하나로 인식하고, 그렇지 않은 경우는 미성숙 세포로 인식하여 통계적 인식 방법을 통한 별도의 추가적 인식 단계를 거치게 한다. 본 발명에 따르면, 혈구 세포를 감별하고 그 수를 측정하는 과정에 있어서 컴퓨터를 이용함으로써 종래의 수기법 보다 신속하고 객관적인 측정이 가능하며, 혈구 세포에 대한 영상 데이터 및 인식 결과는 컴퓨터의 메모리에 저장되어 있으므로 검사자는 필요한 경우 언제든지 다시 그 결과를 확인할 수 있다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method and a device for automatically recognizing the blood cell are provided to accurately recognize a regular blood cell and immature cell by using a neural circuit network and a statistical recognition. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises a microscope stage(20) to put on a blood smear slide(10), a left/right micro-driver(30) to move left/right the stage, a up/down micro-driver(40) to move up/down the stage, a left/right position controller(50) to control the left/right micro-driver, a up/down position controller(60) to control the up/down micro-driver, a microscope(70) to enlarge the image of blood cell, a CCD camera(80) to convert the enlarged image of blood cell into the TV signal, an image input board(90) including an A/D converter, a memory to store the image data, a control and calculation device(110) to recognize the kind of blood cell through the analysis of image data, and a limit switch(120) to limit the moving range of the stage attached to the microscope stage.
