Abstract: A method for regenerating used Ni-catalyst comprises (a) adding 2-40% acid soln. (i.e. 1-20L of HF, HCl, HNO3, H2SO4 or these mixt.) to used Ni-catalyst (100g as nickel) on a stirrer at 50-100 deg. C; (b) adding additive i.e. 100-500g of urea, sodium silicate, glycine, glutamine, colloid type silica or these mixt. and precipitant i.e. 0.1-5M ammonia, sodium carbonate, potassium hydroxide; and (c) ripening for 0-16 hr.
