Abstract: The present invention relates to carbon fiber and provides a method of reusing industrial waste wood to obtain cellulose fiber and carbon fiber. According to the present invention, the waste wood generated in a factory in which industrial products such as pulp and furniture are manufactured is used as the raw material. Resin and lignin contained in the waste wood is removed from the raw material by processes of pulping and bleaching the raw material. Thereby, cellulose pulp with high purity is produced. Then, the cellulose pulp is dissolved in a solvent and is manufactured into the cellulose fiber. The cellulose fiber as a precursor is stabilized and carbonized to be manufactured into the carbon fiber.
