    Abstract: PURPOSE: An image processing method for removing glasses from a color face image is provided to obtain the excellent color face image similar to the color face image with the glasses by finding/removing all areas due to the reflection from lenses and having occlusion as well as a glasses frame. CONSTITUTION: The image processing system receives a color front face image including the glasses through an image input part(S202). An image processor of the image processing system obtains a binary GSCD(Generalized Skin Color Distribution) transform image by emphasizing a skin color of a face(S204). The image processor obtains a binary BWCD(Black and White Color Distribution) transform image by emphasizing black and white of the face(S206). The image processor removes the areas having a different color from the face color of the binary GSCD transform image(S208). The image processor extracts the candidate areas of the eye by using the binary BWCD transform image and the binary GSCD transform image(S210). The precise area of the eye is decided from the candidate areas and the color face image is regulated to the face image of a constant size by using an eye area(S214).
