Abstract: PURPOSE: A multi-layer image display system and a method thereof are provided, which prevents a fatigue of an eye by realizing a volumetric image corresponding to four basic visual functions. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of fanshaped plates(2) are rotated on a center of a rotation axis(1), and a plurality of image display parts(3) are installed toward a user on the plurality of plates and display images. And a plurality of flash type light sources(4) are placed on a position corresponding to the image display part installed on the plate, on an opposite side of the user, on a center of the plurality of plates for the image of the image display part to be output to the external, and irradiate an illumination to the image display part.
