Abstract: PURPOSE: A light transmissive conductive film and a composition of a protection layer for a conductive film are provided to improve the strength of the conductive layer while lowering the energy barrier between the conductive layer and the protection layer, thereby lowering the impedance value. CONSTITUTION: The light transmissive conductive film comprises a conductive film(3) formed on a light transmissive substrate(1) and a protection layer(4) for the conductive film. In the protection layer, a water-containing solvent, silicate and a metal ion additive are dry-mixed to prevent deterioration of the conductive film. The metal ion additive is a metallic alkoxide represented by M(OR)4 or metallic acetate represented by (CH3CO2)yM, in which M is a metal, R is an alkyl having C1-4 and y is 1-4.
