    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a metal oxide thin film structure using a metal oxide sol is provided to facilitate the control of a fine structure without expensive equipment or starting materials, and to obtain a stable phase through a low-temperature process. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing a metal oxide sol comprises (i) preparing a solution containing metal oxide, the metal oxide is selected from the group consisting of ziroconium oxide, cerium oxide, lanthanum gallate, barium cerate, barium zirconate, bismuth oxide, and their doping phase; and (ii) dispersing the same or heterogeneous nanopowder of metal oxide in the metal oxide solution.
