Abstract: There is provided an alkaline fuel cell having superior and economical discharge efficiency. The fuel cell includes: (a) an alkaline electrolyte in which hydrogen gas generating medium selected from a group consisting of NaBH4, KB44, LIAIH4, KH and NaH; (b) an alloy electrode for storing hydrogen gas; and (c) an oxygen electrode. The fuel cell of the present invention shows easy and fast chemical reaction characteristics.
