Abstract: 본 발명은 광신호 펄스의 분산을 보상하기 위하여 첩 광섬유 격자에 유도되는 벤딩을 제어하는 가변 분산 보상기에 관한 것으로서, 첩 광섬유 격자를 포함하는 광섬유; 서로 대칭적으로 배치되며 단차부(stepped portion)를 갖는 제 1 및 제 2 프레임(frame); 상기 광섬유를 부착하기 위해서 소정의 길이를 갖는 제 1 금속판; 상기 제 1 및 제 2 프레임의 단차부에 안착(seated)되는 제 2 금속판; 및 상기 제 1 및 제 2 프레임 및 상기 제 2 금속판과 연결되어 상기 첩 광섬유 격자를 대칭적으로 벤딩(bending)하기 위한 벤딩 수단 을 포함하는 가변 분산 보상기를 제공한다.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a tunable distribution compensator, including: an optical fiber having a chirped optical fiber grating; first and second frames having first and second stepped portions, respectively, wherein the first stepped portion is symmetrically faced to the second stepped portion; a first metal plate with a predetermined length for attaching the optical fiber; a second metal plate seated on the first and second stepped portions; and a bending unit connected to the first and second frames and the second metal plate for symmetrically bending the optical fiber.
