Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing an absorption medium and an apparatus including the absorption medium for reducing non-point pollution source are provided to recycle waste materials by chemically and physically processing the waste materials through carbonization. CONSTITUTION: A charcoal is made by carbonizing an absorption medium(S1). The charcoal and an alkaline solution are mixed and stirred(S2). The alkaline solution is separated from the mixture(S3). The charcoal without the alkaline solution is neutralized, dehydrated and dried(S4). The dehydrated and dried charcoal, the soil with microorganisms, and coagulant are mixed and kneaded to be granular(S5).
