Abstract: A gas distribution plate for a fuel processor, and a gas distribution apparatus and method having the plate are provided to equalize heat of reaction by controlling gas distribution and by contacting gas to a catalyst. Gas distribution plates(10,20) for a fuel processor comprises a first gas flow channel(30) equipped with a plurality of penetration holes(31), which has a depth lower than the whole thickness of the gas distribution plates, a second gas flow channel(40) equipped with a plurality of penetration holes(41), which has a depth lower than the whole thickness of the gas distribution plates. The first and second gas flow channels are independently formed on the gas distribution plates. The first and the second flow channels are formed on a lateral surface or both lateral surfaces of the gas distribution plates.

Abstract: 본 발명에서는 연료 프로세서용 가스 분배 판으로서, 상기 가스 분배 판은, 복수 개의 관통 구멍을 구비하고 가스 분배 판의 전체 두께보다 작은 깊이를 가지며 반응 전 가스의 흐름 경로인 제1 가스 흐름 채널과, 복수 개의 관통 구멍을 구비하고 가스 분배 판의 전체 두께보다 작은 깊이를 가지며 반응 후 가스의 흐름 경로인 제2 가스 흐름 채널을 구비하고, 상기 제1 가스 흐름 채널 및 상기 제2 가스 흐름 채널은 상기 가스 분배 판에서 서로 독립적으로 형성되며, 상기 제1 및 제2 가스 흐름 채널은 상기 가스 분배 판의 일 측면 또는 양 측면에 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 연료 프로세서용 가스 분배 판, 상기 가스 분배 판을 포함하는 가스 분배 장치 및 가스 분배 방법을 제공한다. 본 발명에 의하면 메탄올 개질 마이크로 반응기와 같은 연료 프로세서에 사용되는 반응기에서의 가스 분배 시, 가스 유량의 많고 적음에 관계없이 가스의 분배를 균일하게 조절하여 촉매에 전체적으로 가스가 접촉할 수 있도록 함으로써 국부적 발열을 제어하고 반응열의 분포를 균일하게 할 수 있다.
