    Abstract: PURPOSE: A modified carbon nanotube, a manufacturing method thereof, a carbon nanotube electrode including the same, and a dye-sensitized solar cell including the same are provided to manufacture a carbon nanotube layer of a thinner thickness due to excellent dispersibility and to obtain excellent catalytic action by improving cohesive power and relative density of the carbon nanotube. CONSTITUTION: A modified carbon nanotube is the carbon nanotube in which a polymer with a living radical terminal group is chemically combined through a radical graft reaction. A method for manufacturing the modified carbon nanotube comprises the following steps: preparing the polymer which is synthesized by a living radical polymerization of an unsaturated monomer and has the living radical terminal group; and chemically combining the polymers with the carbon nanotube through the radical graft reaction.
