    Abstract: PURPOSE: An asymmetric hybrid lithium secondary battery is provided to obtain a high capacity and a high voltage by including a porous silicon electrode with excellent cycle performance. CONSTITUTION: An asymmetric hybrid lithium secondary battery comprises a positive electrode which is activated carbon and a negative electrode which is silicon to be alloyed with lithium. The silicon is phosphorous silicon with a columnar structure. The length of the columnar structure is 50-100 nm and the height thereof is 500-5,000 nm. The phosphorous silicon is doped by using an electron cyclotron resonance method and a chemical vapor deposition method. The amount of the phosphorous silicon is 0.1-10wt% based on the total silicon electrode.
