Abstract: PURPOSE: An ionomer conductive polymer electrolyte is provided, to improve the mechanical properties, the flexibility and the ion conductivity of an electrolyte by employing an acrylate-based ionomer and an ethylene oxide-based ionomer. CONSTITUTION: The ionomer conductive polymer electrolyte comprises a mixture of an acrylate-based ionomer and an ethylene oxide-based ionomer of 9:1 and 3:7 by weight and an inorganic material. The mixture is dissolved in an organic solvent whose content is 200-800 wt% based on the weight of the acrylate-based ionomer. The content of the inorganic material is 10-100 wt% based on the weight of the acrylate-based ionomer. Preferably the acrylate-based ionomer has a mean molecular weight of 10-1,000 kDa and is selected from the group consisting of polymethyl acrylate, polyethyl acrylate, polybutyl acrylate, polymethyl methacrylate, polyethyl methacrylate, polybutyl methacrylate, polystyrene, poly(vinyl chloride), polymaleic acid, polyacrylonitrile, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyurethane and polyimide-based ionomers, and their copolymers and mixtures. The inorganic material is selected from the group consisting of aluminum oxide, lithium aluminum oxide, silica, zeolite, titanium oxide and their mixtures.
