Abstract: PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a nanocomposite is provided to manufacture the nanocomposite with improved mechanical property by impregnating an inner layer of clay particles with ionic clathrate hydrate. CONSTITUTION: 1.5-2.5 weight% of clay particles is dispersed in ionic clathrate hydrate for a nanocomposite. The mechanical property of the nanocomposite is improved by impregnating the inner layer of the clay particles with the ion clathrate hydrate. The ion clathrate hydrate is Me4NOH·5H2O. The clay particles are any one selected from sodium montmorillonite(Na-MMT), montmorillonite magnesium, montmorillonite calcium, and montmorillonite potassium. The manufacturing method of the nanocomposite comprises the following steps: a homogeneous solution is manufactured by dispersing the clay particles in the ionic clathrate hydrate; and the solid nanocomposite is manufactured by crystallizing the homogeneous solution at room temperature.
