    Abstract: PURPOSE: An analysis algorithm generating device of an electromagnetic wave standard generating device and a method thereof are provided to efficiently perform numerical calculation by generating algorithm for designing a TEM and GTEM(Giga hertz Transverse ElectroMagnetic) cell structure. CONSTITUTION: A numerical input unit(302) receives information about a TEM cell or GTEM(Giga hertz Transverse ElectroMagnetic) cell. An algorithm generating unit(304) generates algorithm for analyzing a TEM mode by using a mode matching scheme and an associated Legendre function based on the information. The algorithm generating unit divides a taper area of the TEM cell or a space between a conductor and an outer wall of a cross structure of the GTEM cell into up-down-left-right areas in order to analyze the same. The algorithm generating unit calculates electrostatic potential of the areas by using Laplace's equation.
