Abstract: PURPOSE: A test device for web service and a method thereof are provided to test the web service using automatically generated test cases, thereby easily detecting errors in various circumstances. CONSTITUTION: A test case processor(120) automatically generates one or more test cases using a message rule and a web service description file. A web service test controller(140) exchanges service control messages according to one or more test cases with a web service server(200). The web service test controller tests web service provided by the web service server.
