    Abstract: A self-generating sidewalk block is provided to convert the kinetic energy generated from the stepping of people into electric energy through a piezoelectric element. A self-generating sidewalk block comprises a sidewalk block(100), a piezoelectric element(110), and a storage unit(130). The piezoelectric element, composed of an upper electrode(112) and a lower electrode(114), is installed on the bottom of the sidewalk block and converts the pressure generated from the stepping of people into electric energy. The storage unit stores the electric energy from the piezoelectric element.

    Abstract: A public trash bin for collection of disposable cups is provided to utilize the drink remaining in the cups as water for planting by filtering the drink and to encourage people to throw away disposable cups properly in the trash bin. A public trash bin for collection of disposable cups comprises a frame, a plurality of cup collection cases, and a filter case(30). The frame encircles a roadside tree.
