    Abstract: An antenna module using a planar inverted-F antenna is disclosed. The antenna module according to the present invention comprises: a panel having a shape of a rectangular flat plate, each side of which has a length less than or equal to 1/2 of a wavelength (λ) of a preset center frequency; and at least one planar inverted-F antenna in which one of four diagonal lines is disposed, wherein each of the four diagonal lines has an independent ground plane having a length of 0.3λ or less and is oriented in a direction from the center of the panel to the edge of the panel. Therefore, up to four planar inverted-F antennas each having an independent ground plane are disposed in the antenna module having a square shape, each side of which has a length less than or equal to 0.5λ, in diagonal directions from a center of a square, thereby maintaining a 90-degree angle one another. Hence, a large number of planar inverted-F antennas can be disposed in a limited area, while minimizing mutual interference.
