Abstract: 본 발명은 열경화성 수지내에 고성능 열가소성 강인화제를 두께가 균일한 필름 혹은 균일한 분포의 입자상으로 도입하고, 열경화성 수지의 반응속도와 열가소성 강인화제의 용해 속도를 조절함으로써, 열경화성 수지내에 열가소성 강인화제의 농도 구배에 따른 몰폴로지 스펙트럼을 형성시켜, 적은 양의 열가소성 강인화제로 강인성이 우수한 열경화성 수지를 제조하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 의하면, 20 중량% 미만의 열가소성 강인화제로도 내화학성, 내열성 및 강인성이 우수한 열경화성 수지가 제조될 수 있다. 따라서, 본 발명의 방법으로 제조된 고강인성 열경화성 수지는 고강성, 고강도, 고내열성이 요구되는 구조용 고분자 재료에 유용하게 이용될 수 있다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A process for preparing the title composition by introducing low concentration thermoplastic resin in a particle form into thermoplastic resin and controlling the solution and diffusion velocity of the added thermoplastic particles having high tenacity is provided, thereby a thermoplastic resin composition having excellent tenacity as compared to conventional thermoplastic/thermosetting resin composition comprising only sea-land morphology is produced. CONSTITUTION: This thermoplastic resin composition having high tenacity is prepared by the process of: preparing high performance thermoplastic resin having a size of 2 to 200micrometer in a particle form; precuring by adding a curing agent and a catalyst to thermoplastic resin; mixing 90 to 99% by weight of the precured thermoplastic resin and 1 to 10% by weight of the high performance thermoplastic resin; and reacting the precured thermoplastic resin and the thermoplastic resin mixture.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A process for producing thermosetting resin having high toughness is provided. The resin has morphology spectrum by concentration gradient of a thermoplastic toughening agent and is excellent in chemical-resistance and heat-resistance. CONSTITUTION: A process comprises the steps of; pouring the thermosetting resin(1) into a mold(3) located between a film(2) and a silicon spacer(4A); covering the thermosetting resin with 1-20 wt% (based on the thermosetting resin) of the thermoplastic toughening agent film(5) having homogeneous thickness; putting a silicon spacer(4B) on the film(5) and pouring the resin(1); putting a steel weight(6) having a lid(7) on the resin(1) and hardening the resin composition at -10 - 400°C. The obtained thermosetting resin can have morphology spectrum such as sea-island morphology, nodular morphology, inverted sea-island morphology and homogeneous phase morphology by controlling reaction rate of the thermosetting resin, dissolution rate of the thermoplastic toughening agent and a condition of the reaction. The thermosetting resin is a compound selected from the group consisting of an epoxy, a phenol, a dicyanate and etc. and the thermoplastic toughening agent is at least one compound selected from the group consisting of a polyester, a polyamide, a polyarylate and etc.
