Abstract: PURPOSE: Communication method having cell coverage of a base station controlled and device performing the same are provided to control the cell coverage of a base station according to channel state information related to data transmission. CONSTITUTION: A data transmission unit (302) transmits data to a reception terminal. An information collection unit (303) collects channel state information related to the reception terminal. A transmission power control unit (304) controls transmission power based on the channel state information. When the quality of service included in the channel state information exceeds the reference quality, the transmission power control unit reduces transmission power of the base station based on the exceeded range.
