Abstract: 본 발명에 따른 저전압 강하 레귤레이터는 출력부하를 구동하기 위한 출력전류를 공급하는 패스 트랜지스터를 포함하는 출력부 및 상기 패스 트랜지스터의 동작영역에 따라 피드백 루프 이득을 제어하여 상기 출력부하에 인가되는 출력전압을 일정하게 하는 가변 이득 증폭부를 포함한다.
본 발명에 따르면, 저전압강하 레귤레이터의 출력의 정확성과 과도(transient) 특성이 향상되는 등의 효과가 있다.

Abstract: A low voltage drop regulator is provided to improve accuracy of the output and a transient characteristic of the output of the regulator and to implement the regulator in a small chip area by improving integration. A low voltage drop regulator includes an output unit(10) and a variable gain amplifying unit(20). The output unit includes a pass transistor supplying an output current for driving an output load. The variable gain amplifying unit controls a feedback loop gain according to an operation region of the pass transistor and regulates the output voltage applied to the output load.
