    Abstract: PURPOSE: A device for processing leaking liquefied natural gas is provided to safely process liquefied natural gas leaking from a cargo tank. CONSTITUTION: A device (1000a) for processing leaking liquefied natural gas comprises a cargo tank (100a), a collection unit (200a), an ejector (300a), a first pipe (10a), a high-pressure gas injector (400a), a second pipe (20a), a storage tank (500a), and a third pipe (30a). The cargo tank stores liquefied natural gas therein. The collection unit collects the liquefied natural gas leaking from the cargo tank. The ejector inhales the collected liquefied natural gas using the Bernoulli's theorem. The first pipe connects the collection unit and the ejector to each other. The high-pressure gas injector injects high-pressure gas to the ejector. The second pipe connects the ejector and the high-pressure gas injector to each other.

CONSTITUTION: A method for saving costs required for liquefaction based on brine for a CCS chain includes the following: liquefied carbon dioxide of extremely low temperature and brain of room temperature are transferred from a cooling chamber to a storing chamber by a vessel equipped with a carbon dioxide carrier and a brine carrier; the liquefied carbon dioxide is heat-exchanged with the brine in the vessel to be vaporized; the temperature of the brine becomes extremely low; the vaporized carbon dioxide is injected into the storing chamber; the brine of extremely low temperature is transferred to the cooling chamber; the carbon dioxide is heat-exchanged with the brine to be primarily cooled before the carbon dioxide is introduced into the cooling system of the cooling chamber; and the primarily cooled carbon dioxide is cooled and liquefied by the cooling system.
