Abstract:
본 발명은 리튬이차전지용 비수전해액의 첨가제로 사용 가능한 새로운 부동태피막 안정화제 물질에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 비닐실레인계 물질로 이루어진 부동태피막 안정화제 및 이를 적용한 기능성 비수 전해액의 제조에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 새로운 비닐실레인계의 부동태피막 안정화제는 종래의 부동태피막 안정화제로 많이 사용하던 비닐렌 카보네이트(vinylene carbonate, VC)에 비해 제조단가가 월등히 낮아 가격경쟁력이 높을 뿐만 아니라, 초기 충전시 비수 전해액보다 먼저 분해되어 안정한 피막을 형성하여 비수 전해액의 분해를 막고, 특히 열에 약한 리튬헥사플루오로포스페이트와 같은 리튬염을 포함하는 전해액을 사용하여도 고온 충방전시 안정된 피막을 만들어 우수한 충방전 특성 및 안전성을 확보할 수 있다.

A nonaqueous electrolyte solution for a lithium secondary battery, and lithium secondary battery containing the nonaqueous electrolyte solution are provided to improve initial charge/discharge characteristics and high temperature lifetime characteristics. An electrode for a lithium secondary battery includes a silane-based additive. Abstract:
Provided is a nonaqueous electrolyte for lithium secondary batteries, wherein a vinylsilane SEI layer stabilizer decomposes before a nonaqueous electrolyte upon initial charging to form a stable SEI layer, and thus prevents decomposition of a nonaqueous electrolyte and reduces irreversible capacity. To form a stable layer upon high-temperature charging and discharging of a lithium battery, the nonaqueous electrolyte for lithium secondary batteries consists of an organic solvent, a lithium salt, and an additive. As the additive, a compound represented by the following formula 1 is added to 100wt% of the organic solvent containing 0.8-2M of the lithium salt in an amount of 0.1-10wt%. In the formula 1, R1, R2, and R3 each is H or any one selected from C1-5 alkyl groups, and R4 is H or CH3.
