Abstract: PURPOSE: A terminal, a content reproduction method thereof, a message management system, and a content-related message providing method thereof are provided to enable users to obtain widely corresponding additional multimedia content information and share conveniently the obtained information with secondary users. CONSTITUTION: A terminal requests content to a content providing system (S400). If the requested content is available, the content providing system provides the content to the terminal (S402). The terminal reproduces the received content and transmits periodically the time information of the content to a message management system during the reproduction (S404,S406). The message management system monitors whether there is a stored content-related message corresponding to the time information of the content which is received from the terminal (S408). If there is the content-related message, the message management system transmits the stored message to the terminal (S410). The terminal displays the received message while reproducing the content (S412). If a content-related message is input through a user interface unit, the terminal transmits the input message with the time information of the content to the message management system (S414,S416). The message management system registers the time information of the content and the content-related message which are received from the terminal (S418).
