    Abstract: The high temperature superconducting powder is manufactured by emulsion drying or hot kerosene drying method. The fine superconducting powder by this method has properties of high purity and homogeneous chemical composition. The Bi(Pb)-Sr-Ca-Cu-O based superconductor is prepared by (a) making an aqueous solution, having compositions of Pb0.34Sr1.91Ca2.03Cu3.06Oy, Bi2Sr2Ca2Cu3Oy and concentration of 0.07 mole, by dissolving bismuth nitrate [Bi(NO3)2-5H2O , lead nitrate [Pb(NO3)2 , strontium nitrate [Sr(NO3)2 , and calcium nitrate [Ca(NO3)2-4H2O in distilled water, (b) emulsifying them with oil and the surfactant containing kerosene and twin 85 (polyoxyethylene sorbitan ester), (c) calcinating and sintering the solution. The critical temperatures which have Bi(Pb)2Sr2Ca1Cu2Oy and Bi(Pb)2Sr2Ca2Cu3Oy phases are 80K and 110K, respectively.
