Abstract: The method comprises of (i) preparing the sintered body consisting of major element of zinc oxide and a small amount of antimony oxide, cobalt oxide manganese oxide and chromium oxide by sintering at 1200-1350 deg.C for 1 hour, (ii) coating surface of the sintered body with metal oxide embrocation obtained by mixing bismuth oxide and at least one of lead oxide, zinc oxide and borax, and (iii) heat treating the metal oxide at 1000-1200 deg.C for 1-2 hours to diffuse it into grain boundary of the sintered body.
