Abstract: PURPOSE: A double solid immersion lens and a near-field optical system using the same are provided to form a condensing lens with an SIL in a single optical module, thereby simplifying the alignment and assembling with a relatively large clearance and overcoming the diffraction limit. CONSTITUTION: A double solid immersion lens includes a first lens(a concave lens;101) and a second lens(102). The first lens receives light via a first incident surface having a focus outside for refracting the incident light primarily and focuses the primarily refracted light via a first projecting surface. The second lens has a second incident surface integrated with the first projecting surface of the concave lens for receiving the primarily refracted light projected from the first projecting surface. Via the second incident surface, the primarily refracted light is secondarily refracted. The second lens has a second projecting surface at a focussing distance of the concave lens.
