Abstract: PURPOSE: A system and a method for broadcasting watching by using a dual screen portable device are provided to search broadcasting information conveniently by outputting the broadcasting to a simplified icon after downloading broadcasting information through a dual screen portable terminal. CONSTITUTION: A dual screen portable terminal displays EPG(Electronic Program Guide) information to at least one screen among dual screens(S110), and receives a broadcasting request through the touch sensing operation of the dual screen(S120). The terminal transmits the watching information of requested broadcasting(S130), and receives the broadcasting information corresponding to the requested broadcasting(S140). Based on the received broadcasting information, the terminal outputs broadcasting content to at least one dual screen(S150).

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for displaying the broadcast information icon and an apparatus are provided, which produce an icon about broadcast information according to analyzed result of broadcast program content or broadcast information of multimedia streaming service, and display the icon of the broadcast information.
