Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for producing biogas and an apparatus thereof, wherein biogas is obtained by: providing degassing hot-water for results treated in an acid fermenter or providing dilution water when flowed in the acid fermenter; concentrating and returing microbes; maintating MLSS at a level of about 5,000 mg/L within an anaerobic acid fermenter; and therby maintaing R/M ratio 0.23 or below, and, according to the method, the present invention can treat food waste more effectively within a short amount of time, maximize the volume of biogas produced and minimize odor occured in treated water.
