    Abstract: A process for preparing indene acetic acid derivs. of formula (I) comprises (a) reacting a cpd. of formula (II) with Zn powder and ethylbro-moacetate in the mixed solvent of a nonpolar solvent selected from benzene, toluene xylene, or ligroin, (b) treating (c) the reactant with H2SO4 to produce a cpd. of formula (III), and reacting (III) with a cpd. of formula (IV) in methanol or ethanol. (I) are useful as non-steroidal antipyretic analgesics.

    Abstract: A vibration sense testing device is provided to reduce an economic burden by testing a vibration sense state of various patients with a single device. A vibration sense testing device includes a sense stimulus pad(10) and a controller(20). The sense stimulus pad comprises a substrate, a bottom electrode, a vibration device, and a top electrode. The bottom electrode, the vibration device, and the top electrode are successively laminated on the substrate. The controller includes a power supply part and a control part(25). The power supply part supplies a power source to the bottom electrode and the top electrode. The control part controls a voltage of the power source. The vibration device is a piezoelectric film. The substrate is composed of one among a paper, a label paper, a coating paper, a laminate paper, a fiber, a synthetic resin sheet, an organic material, an inorganic material, and an organic/inorganic hybrid material.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A somatosensory stimulating device is provided, which makes convenient use possible and promotes rehabilitation or checking of somatic nerve state of a user. CONSTITUTION: A somatosensory stimulating device comprises a nerve stimulus pad(10) which has lots of stimulation element receiving spaces; lots of stimulation elements(20) which are received into a stimulation element receiving space; a power supply unit(40) which supplies the power to the stimulation element; and a controller(50) which controls the drive of the stimulation element by switching on/off the power supplied to stimulation element from the power supply unit. The nerve stimulus pad comprises a base sheet(11), a space formation member(13), and an upper sheet(15) which comes into contact with the body of a user.
