Abstract: A blue light emitting phosphor for a cold cathode fluorescent lamp, and a cold cathode fluorescent lamp containing the phosphor are provided to improve the luminous characteristics and color purity of a phosphor and to enhance the brightness and color reproducibility of a cold cathode fluorescent lamp.
