    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for heating and cooling using CDMHHP(Compressor-Driven Metal Hydride Heat Pump) system and system of the same are provided to increase moving speed of hydrogen. CONSTITUTION: A system includes two reaction tubes(10,20) charged with metal hydride; reaction parts(11,21) including the reaction tubes and an outside atmosphere system; a compressor(30) forcibly transport hydrogen charged in the reaction tubes; and an adapter(40) installed between the compressor and the reaction tubes to be fluidically connected so as to provide a moving path for hydrogen. The adapter includes a first hydrogen moving path by the compressor and a second hydrogen moving path by difference of concentration of hydrogen between the reaction tubes. A control part(50) controls driving of the compressor, opening and closing of valves(60,61) and working of a wind direction guiding plate(70).
