    Abstract: The present invention relates to a digital watermark detection function improving apparatus about a resampling attack and a method thereof, which includes: a watermark detector (110) which inspects whether a specific watermark is inserted into an input image or not; a conversion type determining unit (120) which extracts a specific point vector between the input image and an original image in order to draw the change type of the input image which failed in a watermark detection; a size/inverse conversion unit (130) which estimates a size conversion rate from the input image and converts the input image in order to be same as the original image by performing an inverse conversion about a transformed input image; and a rotation/inverse conversion unit (140) which estimates a rotation change rate from the input image and converts the input image in order to be same as the original image by performing an inverse conversion about the transformed input image. The present invention prevents the synchronization problem (an attack like a rotation and an amplification) of a digital watermark in advance by determining whether the size and rotation of an image is converted or not based on a specific point vector which is extracted from an image, estimating a size transformation and a rotation transformation which are added to the image afterward, and determining a watermark by inversely converting an image in which the watermark is inserted as much as the estimated transformation.
