Abstract: 본 발명은 입력된 문장의 구문 분석을 통해 수지 신호와 비수지 신호를 결정한 후, 상기 구문 분석 결과를 근거로 각 어휘를 수화 표현을 위한 어휘로 변경하고, 상기 비수지 신호를 해당 문맥에 상응하도록 변환하며, 수지 신호와 비수지 신호가 동기화된 수화 애니메이션을 생성하는 것으로서, 입력으로 들어온 어휘를 주어진 상황에 따라 실제 수화에서 사용하는 어휘로 변환하므로 청각장애인에게 적합한 수화 애니메이션을 생성할 수 있다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A system and method for generating a sign language are provided to generate a sign language animation suitable for the deaf by converting a word into real sign language according to the situation. CONSTITUTION: A syntax analyzer(100) determines a hand signal or non-hand signal through the syntax analyzing of an inputted sentence. A conversion processor(110) changes each vocabulary into a sign language expression based on a syntax analyzing result from a syntax analyzer. A conversion processor converts a non-hand signal to correspond to corresponding context. A script generating unit(120) generates an action script by determining a frame number and space information of a hand signal and a non-hand signal. An animation generating device(130) reproduces the signal operation corresponding to the generated action script by calling the prestored operation database.
