Abstract: PURPOSE: A method and system for determining a location of an electronic product and a smart meter from a multi-hop tree structure are provided to determine a location of the smart meter by exactly grasping a location of the electronic product and the smart meter. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of smart meters(200) is connected to form a multi-hop tree structure. A position determining component(300) communicates with a plurality of smart meters through a wire or a mobile network. The position determining component judges a location of an electrical appliance connected to the location of each smart meter within tri and each smart meter. An electricity information transfer unit(210) obtains information about electricity consumed from the smart meter. An electrical appliance information transfer unit(220) determines whether the electrical appliance connected to the smart meter exists or not.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A power supply apparatus capable of recognizing electric appliances and their contextual locations, and a controlling power supplied to the same are provided to easily analyze poser consumption and save the construction cost thereof. CONSTITUTION: A home network power control method comprises the steps of: extracting first marker information by identifying a first marker attached to a wall outlet(14) when an intelligent multi-plug adaptor is connected to the wall outlet; and recognizing the location of the electric appliances connected to the intelligent multi-plug adaptor from the position of the recognized wall outlet based on the first marker information.
