Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for modeling a channel of a polarized antenna and estimating a channel capacity of the polarized antenna are provided to facilitate an estimation operation by using an estimation channel. CONSTITUTION: A channel estimating unit receives an antenna arrangement structure of a multiple antenna system(S210). The channel estimating unit estimates a wireless communication channel of the multiple antenna system. A channel capacity estimating unit normalizes the estimated wireless communication channel(S240). The channel capacity estimating unit estimates a channel capacity of the multiple antenna system(S250). The multiple antenna system is composed of a plurality of polarized antennas.
