Abstract: An embodiment of the present invention relates to a notification server, a method thereof, and a recording medium. The notification server according to the embodiment of the present invention transmits a notification message to a terminal which generates sleep mode entry data and active mode entry data. The notification server includes a communications unit which receives the sleep mode entry data and the active mode entry data, and a control unit which receives the sleep mode entry data and the active mode entry data from the communications unit and generates a time window. The control unit transmits the notification message to the terminal if current time is included in the time window by comparing the current time with the time window.
