    Abstract: An extraction of sundrops seed fat is carried out by (a) putting 1g of sundrops seed in the extractor, (b) extracting by passing 100-150g of 99% CO2 through the seed for 10-30 hrs at 80-500 atm. and 15-100≦̸C, (c) separating the fat from the extract at 0-30≦̸C and 1-100 atm. and (d) getting the sundrops seed fat. Sundrops seed fat contains 9.9-10.1% gamma-linoleic acid, as a prostaglandin precursor, having an effect on the prevention and cure of adult diseases.
