Abstract: PURPOSE: A loop filter using differential charge pump is provided to operate stability system to deal with deterioration of parts, change of temperature, change of process by changing current of the differential charge pump. CONSTITUTION: A charge pump(120) offers or absorbs fixed current on charge, receiving up/down signals from phase comparator(110) comparing phase of digital frequency. A loop filter(130) passes frequency of specific band, connecting with the charge pump. A main charge pump(121) offers or absorbs current according to up/down signal of phase comparator(110). A sub-charge pump(122) releases or absorbs current, approving up/down signal as opposite of the case of the main charge pump(121), receiving up/down signal of phase comparator thru invertor. The loop filter(130) is connected with resister and the first capacitor in series, and the output-terminal of the main charge pump(121) is connected with one terminal of resister, and an output-terminal of the sub-charge pump is connected with resister and common node of the first capacitor.

Abstract: 본발명은차동차지펌프의전류를가변함으로써영점을조정하고시스템의주파수대역폭을가변할수 있도록구조를개선한차동차지펌프를이용한위상동기루프(Phase Locked Loop : PLL)의필터부에관한것으로서, 디지털주파수의위상을비교하는위상비교기에출력되는업/다운(UP/DOWN) 신호를받아서부하에일정한전류를공급하거나흡수하는차지펌프(charge pump)와, 상기차지펌프에연결되어특정대역의주파수를통과시키는루프필터를포함하되; 상기차지펌프는위상비교기의업/다운신호입력에따라서 I1 만큼의전류를부하에공급하거나흡수하는주 차지펌프와, 상기위상비교기의업/다운신호를인버터를통해입력받아주 차지펌프와반대로업/다운신호가인가되었을때 전류를흡수하거나방출하는보조차지펌프를구비하고; 상기루프필터는저항과제1 커패시터가직렬로연결되어이루어지되, 상기주 차지펌프의출력단에저항의일단이연결되고, 보조차지펌프의출력단은저항과제1 커패시터의공통노드에연결된것을특징으로한다.
