Abstract: PURPOSE: An automatic input system for generating a treatise extensible markup language(XML) full text and a method thereof are provided to improve efficiency of a task to copy and paste a treatise from a PDF file, thereby reducing costs. CONSTITUTION: An automatic text information input unit(110) loads XML data which converts a treatise PDF document in a web input page. The automatic text information input unit generates a PDF file generated by other PDF generation tools as an XML. The automatic text information input unit confirms create tool information through DOM(Document Object Module) parsing. The automatic text information input unit outputs the XML data to a text input page part of the web input page by driving a parser for the create tool and classifying bibliographical information, text content information, and reference information. Abstract: PURPOSE: A full text XML treatise construction system and method are provided to automatically convert various treatise files into a full text XML treatise suitable for a style of a treatise defined in data type definition(DTD) of a PubMed central(PMC). CONSTITUTION: A screen input unit(100) inputs text information for a treatise for research performance in a PDF document by a paragraph unit through a text input part on a web input page. An item setting unit(110) controls the text input part by mapping the text information with an item defined in DTD of a PMC. When the item is selected, an automatic change unit(120) changes a stored type of text data in the text input part corresponding to the selected item.
